The cleanliness of components and parts is crucial for manufacturing processes. Meeting high standards for counting, analyzing, and classifying common microscopic contaminants and foreign particles is critical for all processes in development, manufacturing, mass production, and finished product quality control. Because particulate contaminants directly affect the service life of components, relevant international and national directives clearly specify the detection methods and documentation requirements for particulate contamination of important mechanical parts. Previously, the industry often described residue characteristics by the mass of residual particles, while current standards require more detailed information on contamination attributes such as particle quantity, size distribution, and particle characteristics. The OPG100B automatic cleanliness particle detector is designed to meet the cleanliness requirements of modern industry and national and international standards, especially suitable for the automotive and aerospace industries, providing reliable support for the technical cleanliness testing of components and parts.
The OPG100B automatic cleanliness particle analysis equipment is a precisely designed component cleanliness analysis system, focusing on detecting residual particles on filter paper, and capable of reliably and reproducibly evaluating the cleanliness of workpieces.
The system can automatically classify particles into three categories, reducing the workload of manual operation and focusing on key particles relevant to practical operations: • Metal particles: usually the most critical particles of concern • Non-metallic particles (excluding fibers): also considered critical contaminant particles • Fibers: difficult to avoid during test preparation and operation, and therefore of relatively lower concern The equipment performs a second scan of the filter membrane using a polarizing lens mechanism to achieve accurate counting and identification of metal and non-metallic particles. For objects that easily produce reflections, such as plastics and glass fibers, the system can automatically distinguish them from metal particles, effectively avoiding misjudgment. At the same time, the scanning data for nylon mesh membranes performs identically to other surface filter membranes, and the detection results are not affected by the mesh.|
